Efficient use and zero waste
The ocean is the largest reservoir of water on the planet, and it is crucial to contribute to reducing its plasticization and waste reduction and, at the same time, encourage the practice of drinking tap water, involve the community, as well as raise awareness of good environmental and sustainable practices.
At the Cascais Smart Pole we will create a network of water filling stations for bottles, avoiding excessive consumption of plastic bottles, with the aim of reducing the environmental impact associated with the consumption of bottled water, providing the user with information on the location of the nearest refill point in the living lab area.
