Mobility

In Portugal, the transport sector is responsible for a large part of energy consumption and GHG emissions. For this reason, one of the major goals of this living lab is to encourage stakeholders in the pilot area to adopt sustainable mobility behaviors, including the use of public transport, shared bicycles and scooters, electric vehicles, walking, etc.

Through the connection with the MobiCascais application, the living lab will allow users to know and monitor the environmental impact of their mobility, calculate their carbon footprint, and convert avoided emissions resulting from more sustainable behaviors into carbon credits.
